I have decided to work with the product design brief as it was something that I enjoyed doing in school for graphics communication, which helped me get to where I am today.
The brief consists of numerous tasks based on products of the future. I must design a product for either everyday life (transport, walking, unusual buildings), kitchen appliances or the bedroom furniture.
For part of my research I can watch futuristic films like The fifth Element, back to the future, etc. There's also books from decades ago of what they believe will happen in the future which can also give me some ideas.
There are some product designers who bring out new technology and ideas as well as a science magazine which can list down 2014-2015 most inventive products.
All of this can inspire me to create a futuristic product that no one has thought of.
