From college I produced a comic that ties in with the beano and dandy theme.
I use mostly motion and action instead of speech bubbles to interpret communication.

Strengths
The comic achieves the goal of communication and has visual expressions of the characters, which is what I wanted as a illustrator.

Weakness
It looks rushed, background is boring with the same scene, characters arms and legs look out of proportion and it doesn't have that comic flow from one panel to another. The colours are wrong as well as the black does not stand out so much in the dark grey. It looked brighter while editing but didn't think about the outcome colours.

What I can do to improve
Research some garden scenes for the background using white and grey colour scheme. Look at animal legs and paws to define the characters body. Look at character design books for the action line.
